Ordering & Delivery Information

Our web site aims to make ordering an easy and pleasant experience.

All items are listed under category headings to make it easy to find what you want.

Each item has a description and photograph, but please feel free to e-mail us if you require further information on any of our products. 

Use the add to Cart button to put the item into your shopping cart. To purchase more than one of an item simply add to cart again.  Alternatively, quantities can be changed when you review your order prior to check out.

If you make a mistake, simply press the "go to cart"  button at the top right hand side of your screen to alter quantities or delete items.

Delivery charges are per based on weight and location.  Our delivery charges now start at just £2.99 for smaller lighter items which can be delivered by Royal Mail.  Larger orders over 1Kg are delivered by carrier.  

Unfortunately we are unable to absolutely guarnatee delivery on a particular day or at a particular time.  We recommend ordering in plenty of time if your purchase needs to be with you for a certain date.  We are happpy to work with you to try and ensure your goods get to you when and where you choose but we are at the mercy of couriers once the goods have been dispatched.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of receipt, but this may not always be possible. Goods are normally dispatched Monday to Thursday only. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details. 

We reserve the right to substitute any item with an equivalent of equal or higher value where necessary.  If you would rather we did not do this please e-mail us.

Sale of Knives.  It is illegal for us to sell knives to persons under the age of 18 years.  Please see our terms and conditions page for full details of our policy on the sale of knives.

Deliveries outside Europe

The cost of delivery outside Europe is dependant on the weight and size of your order.  We are happy to offer a quotation - please e-mail details of your order and a delivery address. We will then provide a quotation for delivery and send instructions on how to check out at the correct price.  Alternatively we would be happy for you arrange carriage yourself.  In this instance, please chosose "collect/arrange own carriage" from the delivery menu and pay for your order in the usuual way. We will be happy to prepare your parcel for collection by your chosen carrier.  Please e-mail details of your requirements.

Meat, cheese and fish products outside UK

Currently, we are unable to ship refrigerated products to destinations outside UK


Refrigerated Products

Our cheeses and meats all have at least some curation and are thus able to be transported in unrefrigerated conditions without going bad. We often use Ice packs to help keep the items cool during transit however, customers should be sure that they are able to receive delivery on the first attempt.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for degradation of any  products that were unable to be delivered at the first attempt due to the customer being absent.  If you are not sure that you will be available to accept delivery, consider contacting us to schedule delivery for a specific day, or preferably, have the goods delivered to your work address or to a neighbour, provided of course that the goods can be refrigerated immediately on receipt.  Please note that orders containing refrigerated goods will not be dispached on Fridays. Refrigerated products can only be shipped within the UK.

Collection of Goods or arranging your own delivery
